RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New tires

Not to highjack the thread but thoughts on sizes for tires? I have a Tacoma and was thinking of doing a LT245-75-17 instead of LT265 70 17.. Slightly narrower but still ~the same height. My overlanding will be 90% highway and the rest is gravel or logging roads etc. Thought it might help with...

Couldn't seem to find any of your images related to your frame mounting technique. I have the Eagle shell model and I suspect I am sitting at around 900lbs in it's current form. (battery, solar and roof rack.) I have firestones and LT Cooper tires. Truck seems to handle it fine...

Yes, the battery is massive. 130lbs apparently. https://www.vmaxtanks.com/XTR4D-200-12Volts-200AH-Deep-Cycle-XTREME-AGM-Battery-_p_165.html Probably overkill for me but it's installed and I'll use it.

Thank you for the time and thoughtful responses. The only reason why I want my bike inside is because I am going to be spending some time in places like Raleigh and Atlanta etc., and I'd rather have it out of sight from some opportunistic thief. Dangling a $3k bike infront of a meth head =...

Few items, I just picked up a used 2010 FWC Eagle for my double cab long box 2nd gen Taco. 1. Has anyone taken a hack saw to the front bumpers of their camper to shave them down an inch or two? The gap between the cab and the camper seems unnecessarily massive on mine. 2. Mounting it. I'm...
