ended up running a cable from the 12v fuse box to the refrig area. The ac was obtained from an ac outlet hidden in back of the little cupboard that was filled with toilet paper rolls right next to the refrig area. Its all done and I even added a fan with lite power switch for its operation.

I am in the process of removing an icebox and installing an Isotherm Cruiser 130L refrigerator. My only question is in order to install the top vent I need to cut one of the aluminum frame pieces (see arrow) in order to remove the outside skin in that area. Is it ok to do this...I don't imagine...
