Their have been a lot of failures when using truck bed loops. Not many failure when drilling into bed and putting "proper" eye bolts, secured underneath adding metal plates or thick large washers in my case.

Answering your question. I bought a used Bobcat. I was open to any (shell) that would fit my truck. Mine is a 2014 customized shell with furnace and front battery set-up. Shells are light weight so the overhang on my shortbed works well.

Consider a ATC Bobcat as it's similar dimensions. I love mine.

BTW the Silverado set-up gets 10 mpg give or take 70+ on the x-way.
