I like them. An aluminum monocoque should be lighter and stronger that just about anything not made of carbon. Even if there is condensation the camper has nowhere for it to get absorbed into so no harm.

If it's not lighting it could also be a blockage of his propane orifice just before the burner. Little bugs like to make their nest there.
