Sold, both camper and truck for a fair price with no drama. Really happy as I sold it to a decent guy, no drama, good feeling all along for an actual fair price.

aaand pending sale. To answer the abovve question; The truck cost me $25k, it is rust free and has a $8k flatbed and $3k worth of upgrades. If you can find a 1st gen tundra with NO rust under 50k miles let me know, I searched for 6 months.

Now on Ebay, can't beleive no one is even concidering this camper. Guess the bank might be getting it lol I wish I had this available last October. Is it a location thing? That is a minor roadblock. You can also put a fleet on a full sized truck.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Leaseback the FWC and Truck

Not behind on any payments, great credit, etc. Don’t care about someone using my camper. I don’t love it and wish I had gotten a van honestly. The payments have put a noose around my neck.....I cant afford to travel but with the payments, can’t afford an apartment. I’m in a tight spot. the...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Leaseback the FWC and Truck

The ideal location would be the PNW. No salt, low key, and limited possibility of a renter taking it into a place it might not get out of. Figure a 2018 fleet flatbed on a 1st gen v8 Tundra Limited would be a great platform to rent

Need a middleman as I don't have a base to rent it out, nor do I want my rust free truck getting ruined in the rust belt.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Leaseback the FWC and Truck

Hey Folks, I am looking to see if anyone knows of any company that does a leaseback deal with campers kind of like an Outdoorsy middleman. I know in the aviation world this is common. I honestly love my camper but the payments are out of hand since being let go from my job. If I could lease it...

Hey Folks, I am looking to get some feedback on your expereince with the new FWC solar supplier and panel reliability. The suppler is Overland Solar out of Idaho. The point of this thread is to see if anyone else is having similar problems. When I got my brand new FWC Fleet Flatbed back in...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West A new take on a flatbed rear rack.

I used the 40 series T-slot with very little defelection. I agree that 6 gallons up high is a problem, but 6 gallons is 36 lbs. Also not carried 100% of the time. Reasons like this is why the steel rack is not good for this application. Mcmaster is nice, but don't offer custom that I could see...

I do love the rack though. Adding traction mats, fuel tanks and an axe back there make it less of a old man RV and more adventurmobile :P At 40 though....i'm quickly hitting old man status lol

If I recall it was $525+/- it was steel and did not include anything (I assumed it did given the price and was a little miffed when I realized what I was actually getting. :/

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West A new take on a flatbed rear rack.

Oh wow!! I LOVE the sliding booster antenna. That is now on my to-do list!! I made mine out of the 80-20 as well, as that is what frontrunner, prinsu and rhinoracks do. It's modular and can buy the accessories from them if you want. Shipping took a while but worth the wait.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West A new take on a flatbed rear rack.

Thought I would share this here. When I ordered my Four Wheel Camper back in October I got the expensive rear rack for the maxtrax and the fuel cans. I figured what was a few more bucks on top of everything else. Several months later I get the camper and it has no rack. Upon asking I find out...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Camper Ordered, But Which Truck to get?

Just my .02. I have a 1st gen 2005 tundra. It works. Sure I am probably over GVWR but don't care. It stops 100x better than my Landcruiser, accelerates 1000x better and is 10000x more comfortable. I have airbags, and Alcan springs setup for the weight. The folks here can offer some valuable...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Flatbed Owners: Anyone Using External Turnbuckles vs. Through-Bolting?

Throughbolts on mine done by Mainline. Big honker grade 8 or 10 bolts. Figure that if and when I take it off I won't cry if I have to take 30-45min trying to line up bolts. For the weight of this camper I am NOT interested in it falling off in the places I wander off to.

Thanks! To answer your Qs. -Portopotty: I felt a perminant addition was a waste of space. Ended up buying a Cleanwaste Go, wagbag toilet to use when necessary. Takes up very little space. Now instead of a toilet I have a decent cabinet in the bottom and a nice storage area on the top. -On...
