On the propane tank locker door, you can see some indentations. Those were caused by a load of deadfall I carried on a hitch rack which shifted forward while coming down a steep section of a pass in Colorado. No interference with the door's operation. Cosmetic only.

You can see the vinyl woodgrain on the turnbuckle access hatch peeled away. Several photos later you can see I have replacement panels...just haven't had the time in the day to get the swap completed.

The camper comes with the following accessories:

Fiamma rear awning
5g grey water tank (blue tank) - this gives you 2-3 days (or more) of meals and dishwashing before having to empty it
Grey water hose for the 5g grey water tank
Compact, aluminum table and bench set for four (fitted alongside the driver's side of the camper's "hallway")
30 amp power cord
Extension cord
Water tank fill hose
Fuses
All manuals and purchase documents
Rieco Titan jacks with manual crank handles
Rieco Titan adapter for power drill (very handy)
Indoor-outdoor thermometer
Replacement trim pieces for damaged pieces (de-laminated vinyl)

I'll be happy to assist folks with finding a scrupulous shipper here in the Tampa Bay area and teaming with them to ensure the camper is safely loaded as if I were having it delivered for myself.

I suppose I should add that, yes, this is my first post here. However, I'm easily searchable on the old BMW F650 forum, the KTM Section (Orange Crush) of Adventure Rider and on Expedition Portal. I'm also on some telemark skiing and Ducati websites but haven't been very active there.

I'm also considering selling the truck and camper as a turn-key deal.

To be clear, FWC installed their charging harness in my Toyota (engine and marine-grade truck bed connection) so the buyer would have the FWC charging solution for the camper's house battery.

The motor is the 3.4 liter 5VZ-FE engine. It is completely stock. Fully loaded, the truck gets about 14 mpg at 60-65 mph. The 77,xxx miles are original. I purchased the truck in 2008 with ~32,000 miles. I am the second owner of the truck. The first owner was a female school teacher in Illinois and I purchased the truck from a Toyota dealer after its life as a commuter.

The truck has a manual, 5 speed transmission with the ADD transfer case which allows you to push a button on the transfer case shift lever to go into 4 high. To go into 4 low, you need to stop the vehicle (normal regardless of 4WD system) and then move the transfer case shift lever (all from inside the cab).

Original gear ratio was 4.33. With the camper installed, the truck became slightly tired. It would move without any drama, but the throttle response wasn’t snappy. With the 4.88 differentials, the truck has great throttle response on incline starts such as the streets of San Francisco or anywhere in mountainous areas. I’m originally from Colorado and the truck was intended for a trip to Chile so I configured it for those applications. However, the improved throttle response from lowering the differential ratio didn’t compromise the top end too much. It still zips right along at 70-75 mph if you’re inclined to go that fast.

The truck has a Line-X bed sealant which I had done specifically for the camper.

Camper roof is the two piece but has never leaked in a Gulf Coast deluge.

The heat distortion on the plastic trim was result of sunlight coming through the front dome sunroof. I had the camper stored while my wife and I were out of the country for a year but the sunlight was enough to cause a 3-4 inch section of plastic trim to ripple.

I’ll be happy to get interior shots of the truck over the weekend. There is one scratch on the front right quarter panel by the previous owner. Not sure how it happened but it’s not rusting or unsightly to me and I’m pretty particular.

Hi Frank, thanks for the note. Both the main and screen doors open to the right. I would guess the first owner made a custom request during the build process. This camper was one of the first new Fleets that was built to fit the new Tacoma. He slept in it a total of two nights before his wife decided they wanted a 5th wheel instead....a rather big leap in campers!

Hello NC, do you have a price in mind for the truck/camper combo?

Any issues with the truck? Rust?

Thanks, looks like a nice rig. BTW I'm in the Phoenix, AZ area.

Carl

$12,000 Camper
$13,000 Truck
$25,000 Truck and Camper package

Camper charge system and camper installation done by Terry and Chicali at FWC.

Brand new Toyo Open Country AT IIs just installed (five tires).

I'm not considering selling the truck before the camper.
I am, of course, willing to sell the camper without the truck.

I'll try to get some interior photos of the truck posted this weekend.

Sorry I missed the questions above. No rust beyond normal surface rust on the frame. I had the frame inspected twice over a 12 month period (2009 and again in 2010) by two different Toyota dealers based on the frame rust buy-back program and passed inspection without issue both times. When I had the truck in for suspension work, I had Armorology paint the frame as a long-range preventive measure and the paint looks good. Definitely no body rust. There is a small bit of paint bubbling and rust on the rear bumper at the edge of the plastic trim of the bumper step. I've intended on replacing the bumper with a swing away so haven't concerned myself with the dime-size spot. Given the truck is 11 years old, this one spot of rust seems pretty reasonable to me and I'm particular.

Thanks for the info on the condition. Could you send your contact info to me at cdwright455@gmail.com? Thanks.

Sorry NC but I'm not seeing any new notifications or emails from you. Try my email, that should be good. Thanks.

Sir,

Can you hear me now?

PM sent with contact data. I must've ended up in your junk mail folder.

Thanks!

Would this camper fin into a 6.6 bed of a full size gmc? I understand it may need a platform to get the cab over to clear the cab.
Also, it says you consider the price because. You expect to ship out of state, so does this price include shipping to ca.?

Yes, this camper will fit into a 6 and 1/2 foot long bed. Where you'll want to double check dimensions with Stan at FWC is on the width of the camper base which fits between the wheel wells and on the height from the base of the camper to the eaves or overhang. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine on all account given your truck is a full-size but it's prudent to check with Stan at FWC.

Reference the price, similarly-equipped FWCs have sold for a higher price in the past hence my comment about "We're on the low side of FMV..."

I set the price at $12,000, lower than the fair market value at the time of posting, because I anticipated the potential purchaser would be from out of state and would incur costs to drive here to pick up the camper or arrange for shipping.

Short answer to your question....the price does not include shipping to California.

Thanks for the note and happy hunting :D .

Thanks, I keep going back and fourth between a grandby and a hallmark ute. It's tough to decide.

The Ward family at Hallmark is super. Great people and great product, IMO.

I can also say the same about Tom and the crew at FWC.

Grandby favors simplicity and lightweight.

Ute favors increased comfort and features.
