currently rebuilding a 1966 alaskan camper, have stripped the front and rear bulkheads off the top section due to excessive rot, was unable to get a measurement of the width of plywood used in the original construction , thinking it may be 3/4” but not exactly sure,
 
Duallydodge, I had a similar issue when pulling apart my Alaskan's bulkheads: Both stacked wood, not ply. Very odd set, imho. I ended up using 5/8" marine grade ply to replace the stack. Seems to be significantly more rigid than the original. Good luck on your build!!
