2017 All Terrain Bobcat Pop-up camper, shell model with light build, original owner.
Built for 2016 Chevy Colorado, but will fit other midsize and can be mounted to full size per All Terrain. The Colorado has a deeper bed than a Tacoma for example. It sits in a Colorado directly on the bed, no riser. It stuck out past the end of my 6’2” bed by 8-10”. It has leg extensions to the front for width. For a full size truck, larger leg extensions would be needed to get under it. I cannot fit my 2024 Silverado between the legs.
Built by ATC as a shell with several options:
-Extra height
-Propane furnace
-Fantastic fan
-extra roof vent over bed
-wiring for solar to roof and rear panel
-12V battery
-USB ports x2, 12V cigarette lighter port
-rear LED flood lights
-Jacks/legs
-Storm windows (covers for the outer windows for harsh rain)
Currently includes the above plus:
-Battery replaced with Odyssey AGM battery
-8’ Fiamma awning
-L-shaped bench/bed on window side with custom cushions.
-Drawer added to heater tower
-Counter
-Corner cubby/bookshelf, 3 shelves
-Storage bin along length of counter side
-Bedliner coating to lower exterior plywood
-Curtains, Velcro fastening. Super easy and simple. Theyre getting a bit faded though.
Built simply and minimally, its got it where it counts. It has a good amount of space and storage for its small size. The 12V battery can handle running the heater and roof fan and charge devices for a few days without needing a charge. It has rarely needed more than the battery can provide. I never had a need for solar.
It weighed 680 lbs before I built anything.
Legs will be included.
Ive used this camper a lot, in all weather. It has never missed a beat. ATC customer service is the best as well. I built it out with the help of a cabinet maker friend, so the install is pretty clean, not perfect, lots of pocket screws, no legs extending to the floor. Built from Maple faced ¾” ply and Baltic Birch 3/8”. A couple panels never got finished, still as they came from ATC, can see in the pics. I got tired of building and wanted to play.
It has some wear and tear, but no damage. Everything works. Some stickers came off, a couple smudges here and there, some worn paint, but the only thing out of place is the front rubber bumpers kept coming off, so I fixed them to a board that I put in front of the camper so the bumpers still do their job. One side marker light flickers, cheap and easy to get from amazon.
To have this camper built today would be about $16,800 before my build.
