2020 Grandby Shell, in Maryland partially finished.
Only used 5-6 times for short local overnights.

UPDATE 12/22 : I have had two buyers commit to a purchase and then back out. Both decided the drive was too much. I really would like to sell this camper! So... if you are a traveler or even better an east coast roamer please check in.

I planned to use this for extended trips and started the build for rugged use. The events of the last couple years have forced me to change plans. I believe much of the work I have done is basic enough to incorporate into various layouts. As you can see in the pictures I used high quality materials. The plywood is exterior grade, high compression birch. It is coated with marine epoxy finish.

2020 Grandby Insert for 8 foot bed
Queen size upper bed. Couch-Twin bed below for family or quick rest stop overnight (Top Down)
Smooth Aluminum Siding / Gray-Tan
Mechanical Camper Jacks
Jack Brackets Aluminum Upgrade
2 Powered Roof Vent Fans
Yakima Tracks on the Roof
Driver’s Side Window
Full install package bolts and anchors package

Electrical
.
Complete Victron Multiplus, MPPT, Sterling charging package as pictured
2 100Amp BattleBorn lithium batteries. Well maintained with minimum cycles. (I can hold these back for a reduction in price)
BlueTooth phone app monitoring.
4 not yet installed hard shell solar panels
Extra wire and fuses for direct power install.
This setup will charge from solar, car alternator, or shore power.

Everything in close to new condition including windows, screens, canvas, roof, cushions. One crack in plexi slider over door lock. This is a solid long distance rig.
This package would cost $24,000 off the shelf now. This camper is in almost new condition.

Camper: $17,500 I will discount the 2 Battleborn batteries as I will use them in another project if not wanted here.

Sorry. I work in TV production and had to jump on a plane. Can someone coach me on including some pictures. Thanks much.

@Vic Thanks Vic. Amazing how much thought it takes to keep things simple! I was focused on building a rig that would be equally happy in a plug-in campsite in Mexico or a rest stop in Ohio or back road Alaska. I found buying a shell has been a lot of fun. I wish I could still go ahead with my plans.

above your elec install, there is a metal plate with 3 bolts. on both sides. what is this for? thx

I have those too. Those are the backing plates for the camper mounts.

Please take a look at my 2020 Grandby for sale. I have had two commitments fall through. Let me know if there is anything I can add to the info above.

Cheers all. Wishing all a Great New Year and Safe Travels

Reid
