A Look at This Winter in South Lake Tahoe

When we had our cabin in Dorrington the state road people would bring in
the "big"blower when the snow got too high for the county equipment.

It was a fun sight to watch.

Baker County plows our lane with a scraper plow on a 6x6 truck. They frequently come by so fast the snow caves in mailboxes, not to mention leaving a good size berm across the driveway. No real complaints, it’s nice to have the lane plowed.
 
When we lived in Kirkwood a new driver forgot to turn the discharge and buried our cars that had just been put back in our clean parking lot. Snow removal department sent a couple of kids with shovels to clean it up. It was kind of funny.

That was very nice of them to come out and fix their mistake.
