a sad day for lqhikers!!

well it had to happen today was the day we lost a true companion,our trusty 2002 tacoma 4x4 departed with its new owner we traveled a lot of miles together and it always got us to the best camp spots and made sure we also got home safe and in good shape.the new owner will never know the fine trips it gave us as we returned it to the stock condition to which it started! its is on its way to a new life in that scary state of minnesota,no more warm days and mild desert nights,just wet and bugs and a new teenager driver as it was bought as a gift by a grandparent.may it have a good life,we hope he drives slow and enjoys as it "is the journey " that counts!

Please dont cry for Les and Virginia. I've seen the shop. If Les really wants another '02 he can build it himself. The guy is amazing. These 2 swim miles every week and then go railbiking. And they are really nice to boot. I wish I was that young
