Any recommendations for a a.c. For my camper. Live in Fla. And the wife wants a a.c. Unit so we can camp in Fla. I can live without it but have to keep the wife happy.

Hello
There are some small a/c units which sit in the floor and have a small duct for circulation on the condenser side ( the hot air you are taking out of your camper). All you need is access to the outside for the flexible duct. No holes to cut in the roof or walls.
I think there is a member in South Texas who did this.

I was thinking about taking out the fantastic fan and use that space for the a.c. Just not sure what is a good a.c. To install. Coleman's are all right was just wandering if there was a better brand.

was thinking .... and that can be dangerous!!!!
was dreaming of nice cool naps in the middle of the summer in our gorgeous deserts

option 1:

Small window 110 volt ac ( cheap compared to dc units)
rigged , mounted to fit either side of the camper windows when camping (shadey side)
power supplied from a generator....or shore power

pros...
cheap already have ac unit
can leave at home in winter

cons:
not stealthy
hassle to set up, take down, store, and travel with

VERY interested in other ideas and options..... Thank You

I would not want to loose my fan. Lot of weight up there, and what about when you don’t need to camp. Keep in mind how much power it’s going to need.

Thanks guys, don't really want to loose the fan either just trying to figure out a way to do more camping in the summer in Florida. would rather head out west but going to have to wait a while before that can happen.
