Adding a protecting vinyl layer on the outside corners?

Anyone ever (or consider) putting an extra "layer" of vinyl (or some other material) on the vinyl corners of their FWC? In our previous FWC's that seemed to be the area where most wear came from (I always tucked the corners in too). We use our camper a lot (new Hawk Flated; 4 months old and about 30 nights already) and just trying to make it last as long as possible.
