I've been lurking for a while, but have never posted.
I am hoping there might be one or two members in Alberta, Canada interested in "showing off" their pop-up camper, whether it's a FWC, ATC, Alaskan or otherwise.
I am interested in them, but they beyond rare in this area (Red Deer). I would like to get a feel for these little campers and see if it would work for our family. I want something unobtrusive, but comfortable enough for two adults and a child (or children, thinking to the future...). I prefer dispersed camping, so something that allows us to get a bit off the beaten track is ideal.
As a couple, we have truck camped out of a Ranger with a topper and gone thousands of miles from home, but that isn't realistic with an infant. We now have a 2500 Silverado w/ 6.5' bed, and will likely be staying much closer to home.
