Aluminum lift panels, does anyone know the origin?

Pictured is the rear, single piece panel that pops up in place.

The front is also aluminum, but the standard hinged design. I will get pictures of the front when the weather improves.

Does anyone know if this style was ever made by FWC or ATC?

That aluminum lift panel looks to be what in the US Army was called "local manufacture". That was fifty years ago. The Army may have changed nomenclature since then.
