Bigger hand rail for steps

So who'put one on? How an where did you drill to attach? Looking at the one that swing back toward camper when not in use

I just ordered this one to use with our Brophy scissor stairs (5 steps) for our Grandby FWC flatbed. You can buy the same size in aluminum on Amazon for 50 bucks less but we are talking our obsession here! It only comes out 15" so will need to lean to grab the handrail but I didn't want the bigger size. (We're not decrepit... YET!)

so how is it screwed into camper? did you need to go all the way through an add backing plates inside!did you need to add spacers for window an door clearance?? thank you !love that one
