Wonderful 16' canoe made by a friend of mine back in the 1980's. All cedar, no canvas. 50 pounds. Very quick in the water, but my wife and I also find it to be quite tippy.

I can send more pics if desired. It would be wonderful if a real canoeist who would appreciate this canoe would use it more than we do.

Canoe is in Calgary, Alberta.

Just curious; what's the widest beam at the water line?
32". That's at the gunwale. Narrower at water line. No tumble home in this design. This canoe is oddly stable in a good swell; it cuts through waves very nicely.
