About midway through our spring trip: snow, wind, cold across route 40., North 491 to Needles, South to Bluff Area, following the Monkey Gang to Bull Frog where we checked into a hotel to catch our breath. 15 nights in and 15 to go. Photos if they post via my iPhone. It's beautiful out here!

In the morning it's on to the Burr Trail and SouthWest Utah.

Got to Zion (it's a bit of a zoo), cleared out as the days wore on as it was raining. Jus an FYI I was able to park in D Loop no issues.
We left Glen Canyon via the Burr Trail to 12. Took Cottonwood Canyon Road SE with a stop over at Kodachrome Park (water & hot showers) numerous Hines and camping spots along the way. Turned north on 89 to route 500 east about 13 miles to Skutumpah Road. (Don't recommend it if it's raining. There's a number of dead men turns with room only for one way.
Hiked the sunrise to sunset trail Bryce to get to Zion! Fish Lake than Capital Reef and The Maze.

Hiked as far up the Narrows as they would let us! The virgin River was cooking all the way down from the storm last night.

Left Zion and camped at Fish Lake NP. Crossed over from Fish Lake National Forest into Capital Reef via Cathedral Valley. Very fun ride as you'll climb from 500' to 9500' from Aspen Forest Stands to Bentonite Dunes in less than a 100 miles, yet it's a 5 hr trail ride. IMG_5205.JPGIMG_5208.JPGIMG_5213.JPGIMG_5219.JPG

White Rim was flooded out at mile 70, but we got a day use pass. Very intense ride, came out 279.A746BA2A-14F5-453F-AF17-11C231F8E942-COLLAGE.jpg
Headed home today.
