I had a custom rear leaf spring pack made for my 2001 Tundra. I kept the camper on all the time. I upgraded to a Dodge diesel so I took the spring pack off the Tundra and put the stock stuff back on.

So I have a spring pack I paid over a $1000 for sale. If you are looking for such a setup let me know. I have it in Craigslist for $750.00.

Keith in La Mesa CA.

Truck looked like this with springs on.

Probably so. I wanted to pull my Jeep and have the camper too. The Tundra was not up to the task. I may have had this in the back of my mind when I got the used Hawk versus a Kestrel. The diesel was made for my application and the camper is a better fit.

The Tundra is now the go get dirt or lumber truck once again. The Dodge is my RV.

I did about the same thing. Wouldn't say the Dodge is an upgrade to Tundra, just different. Still like Tundra a lot, but it will never haul what the dodge does.

Did pull Jeep to Moab from WI with Tundra with Hawk on. Did the job fine. Used a tow dolly.
