This now leaves me with two circuits to deal with. I am tentatively planning on using a switch on my auxiliary panel to trigger a
100 amp 12 Vdc relay to power my air compressor. That leaves me with a single 30-40 amp circuit for the DC-to-DC charger which also includes an engine running detection mechanism to prevent the charger from draining the starter battery when the vehicle is not running. There does not seem to be any advantage to using any sort of switch to trigger that on and off since it is already built in.
Am I missing any other potential high amp components that will require power from the starter system? I have addressed the winch, air compressor and DC-to-DC charger. The LED headlights and LED fogs are pulling power from the factory wiring harness.
