Hawk outside lights short
Hello:
I have a 2015 Hawk with exterior 5 amp light package.
Fuse blew the other night.
Has anyone experienced the problem and solved it? If so,
Before I start to troubleshoot can you let me know where your problem was. Will save a lot of man-hours if I can start at possible causes.
I think water might be causing the problem as the issue appears to have started after a heavy thunderstorm. Maybe at a light. Thanks in advance!

"exterior 5 amp light package" So there could be more than 1 light? I would have a bunch of fuses, and starting with 1 light. remove and disconnect each one until you can determine if it's the light itself. While doing so, make sure the wire feeding the light doesn't appear to be shorting against the aluminum frame. If you continue to blow fuses after you eliminated each light, maybe it's shorted somewhere in the framing. Better let warranty handle that. My old 79 Grandby had no protection where the wiring passed through drilled holes in the frame.

I'd try removing all lights that make up the system. Check for obvious issues as you go. If fuse still blows, it's a wiring/circuit issue. Start adding lights until you find the culprit.
