I saw somewhere in a topic (!) about buying a kit to upgrade the fan to multi-speed with remote. Then someone pretty darn smart says " why buy the $150 fan up grade kit if you can buy a new fan for $200 and have 2! One for the kitchen (3 steed) and the one I want quiet ...over the bed a multi-speed. So...question is where did this person find a Multi-speed Fantastic fan for $200?
This is a pretty short topic but wasn't sure how else to ask.

I'm not sure an "exact" source was given, I did find this...

FWIW.... I found the entire fan unit on ebay for just under $200. Most of the "upgrade" packages I see/saw when looking were about $150.

I chose to slap a complete unit in (6600) and have 2 FF's in the Hawk for the extra $50 rather than merely upgrading the existing fan from 3 speed to remote/16 speed. We don't camp much in hot weather but on a few trips south to NM we've had both fans roaring and the amount of airflow coming in the camper with both fans on is amazing. (roaring being the key word!)

Thanks Alley-Kat! I've gotta learn how to site search.

yup...ebay. Easy stuff.

full unit $208 http://www.ebay.com/itm/FANTASTIC-FAN-TASTIC-RV-ROOF-VENT-6600-REMOTE-WHITE-/360480404392?pt=Motors_RV_Trailer_Camper_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53ee4e73a8&vxp=mtr

When i bought mine it was $50 cheaper but the guy I got it from said he had to raise his price because FF was on his ass for underselling THEM. LOL. Goes to show how much margin for profit there is on these things....
