While at the so cal FWC rally I got inspired to get a portable solar panel after seeing Jim's setup. I got it at Solar Blvd for $169. It's a 100 w and fits perfectly behind my couch back:

I ordered one also. Should arrive tomorrow. Its not that my current panel isn't enough but its only enough when it gets full sun. This should be a lot more flexible for the conditions.

Darn, they pulled the panel from the website today. Must be out of stock!

They do have the 120w model however...

Ooh, more power. I also think prices have hit bottom. I'm sure they'll go and prove me wrong now

I noticed that they delisted the 100w. The 120W is only about $26 more. I didn't take any photos of the connector. The main cable has a connector on both ends as well as batter clips wired to a connector and cig plug wired to a connector.

I bought some additional connectors so I could make an extension cord as well as a hard wire to my FWC batteries. Just finished the install today and it works great. I also put a 10 A fuse in line to prevent any problems to my electrical system. One note for anyone who buys these, check the terminal block on the controller. On mine one of the panel wires was pulled out. When I went to insert and tighten, all of the screws were loose. I did notify them of this so maybe they took it off the site to inspect the remaining ones.

P.S. after I set up the hard wire to the camper I tested the panel. Before connecting I had 3 out of 4 leds charge on my FWC monitor. When I connected the Solar panel it went to 4. Also the controller on solar panel has charge indicators and is supposed to stop charging when the battery is fully charged. Haven't checked that yet.
