When I bought my Hawk I thought about adding the stereo option, but as someone who doesn't consider music merely "background noise", I wasn't impressed with the model being offered....so I passed.

I also wanted something I could utilize if we decided to veg-out and watch a movie. More importantly, I wanted something portable (with a subwoofer) and something that I could easily sit outside at 2AM and CRANK should some chowderhead in a monsta RV decide he needs to break the silence of the night by pullling in at 12AM and thinking he is going to run his generator all night. (we'll keep some RAP on hand JUST for this occasion!)

just kidding....kinda. Never say never.

Anyway, this is what I ended up with. Everything fits neatly in the case and it's easy to hook up to the laptop.

m-h,

Very nice, as a fellow music junkie I'd love to have a set up like that. What are the speaker sizes and how many watts does it put out?

Heya DLN!

You'll probably have more options/room in a Class B for just about anything you wanna put together, but yeah...this is a sweet set up for an on-the-go party pak.

All of the reviews I could find were highly favorable and every reviewer commented on the clean sound this unit will produce. I have a buddy in CA who has one who egged-on the purchase and told me "you won't be sorry!"
I've spent enough time in front of the speakers with this guy to know he knows what he's talking about.

"Specs" are kinda few/far between on this unit. My buddy tells me he has an old CSW set up from the 80's that uses the same satellites that come on the Model Twelve and they are still pumping today.

Cambridge SoundWorks Model Twelve portable speaker system

"The Cambridge SoundWorks Model Twelve is a smart product. In addition to the endorsement from legendary rocker Mick Fleetwood (of Fleetwood Mac fame), this portable set of speakers is easy to move from place to place, thanks to the carrying case. The Model Twelve even has a 12-volt adapter to use on the road. All you need to do is add an audio source.

The Model Twelve provides 150 watts of power, but you need to plug in your portable MP3 player or portable CD player to make it go. In fact, with three audio inputs, you can plug in all your portable devices. The Model Twelve has a pair of two-way speakers that are magnetically shielded, and it comes with a separate 6-1/2-inch BassCase subwoofer that provides an impactful and musical low end. Cleverly, the subwoofer is part of the carrying case. Don't be fooled into thinking that the Model Twelve is a gadget, as it will impress just about anyone."

baddaboom!
