I've read about bow lathes, but never seen one in use. The one I read about turns the bow with a foot pedal so the hands can work the wood. Cool video.

I belong to a turning association and I've never seen one of our members take his socks off during a demonstration.

Pretty cool. I love seeing low technology turn out nice items. A sharp contrast to us who have all of this electric, variable speed, steel and cast iron tools.
