Four Wheel Pop-up Camper (with NO cab-over) ???

here is another example of the weird FWC's out there that no one remembers

this is a 1997 Grandby Model w/ no cab-over bed

the owner of the camper thinks he has the only camper ever built like it

I know it was the 1st one I have ever seen


I talked to the guys in the shop and we could build something like this again pretty easily if anyone is interested.

Interesting idea ???? ...

Does it have the bunk, or just the couch?

This camper just had a "fixed" single cab-over bed (no typical slide out).

1/2 of the bed was the cab-over portion of the camper and the other 1/2 was a small shelf that extended into the camper area with a thin mattress up there.

He said he slept up there some times, and other times he slept on the couch.

Other than that, it looked exactly the same inside as any of our other campers back then (sink, stove, refrigerator, furnace, couch, etc.)
