Here's the fishing rod holder I put together for my trout rods in my FWC-Hawk. It will be held on via screws and wingnuts in the storage holders (so clamp is only temporary). Have not used it yet, but I had a similar setup in my last Pop-Up (Northstar TC650) which worked well.

SD_Beaker: I like that. My rod holder/case is on the exteriore under the overhang. 4" PVC, but could have went as large as 6". Held on by SS footman loops and SS hose clamps.

Trapper Mike:

Finally getting around to installing a 6" conduit storage tube under the roof of my Hawk. Where did you put the footman loops? Are the loops against the front panel just below the corner where it meets the roof? Anything you would have done differently??

Thanks!!

Ronin,
The footman loops are tight to the corner intersection of the overhang and front wall, but are attached to the metal on the vertical surface of the front wall. There is a beam behind there and just used stainless strews. So far so good and everything is holding up well.

Thanks!! I should receive my conduit carrier kit today. The Buyers 6"conduit kit price was recently reduced to $38.00 so I decided to go for it. Just one of those "I'll get around to it someday mods".
