Gas Strut Roof Lifters

What is the closest place to Olympia, WA, where I can have installed 4 Gas Strut Roof (Lift) Extenders (40 or 60 pound ???) on my 2004 Grandby Pop-up Camper? What would be the estimated price for equipment & labor? Thanks from Bill (360-870-9871).

I think there's a new FWC dealer in Portland if you want them installed by someone familiar with our campers. I did them myself with the help of a friend, ordered 40# for the back and 50# for the front from Strut-your-stuff-here on eBay, they are out of Yakima and I think the total price for the lifters and brackets and shipping was a bit over $100. Took us under two hours to do the install.

American RV is in Tigard. They are the FWC dealer for Oregon.

I had mine upgraded from 30 to 40 when I was at FWC and they were $50 each installed but they charged me $25 each since mine were pretty new.

You might want to look on the "4-Wheel Camper" part of this website. On Oct 16 I (and others) posted some info on this topic. I had my lifters added in Portland.
