New to boards but had my FWC since 1999. A few years ago I bought a small zodiac type raft for fishing and have been keeping it in my camper when not in use. I was thinking of getting a Hitch Mounted Basket so I don't need to carry it in the camper any more. Then i found the go chassi (http://goproductsusa.com/store/go-chassi) this looks like it would help out on getting the boat and other junk closer to the water when I can't drive to the shore.
Has anyone used one of these?

The big thing I am worried about is ripping off a wheel when driving off road.

If you can't drive to the shore, how well would the wheels on this thing work; in sand, dirt, mud, etc. If you could run this thing up to the shore, you can probably drive there.

Don't know weight of your outfit, but some kind of dolly with large wheels would probably work better. They make these sort of things just for boaters who need to traverse soft soil. Put it on some kind stock or customized basket. You might want to look into a front hitch and basket outfit. If you consider a front hitch, depending on your truck, you might want to check this out:

Where in the world are you going to carry that thing?

I made my own collapsible dolly. Everything fits on a hitch rack.

Do you have any plans for your dolly, I would like to try making one.

Thanks,
