I've been up in Prineville helping my FIL sort things out. This 1935 John Deere Model B is heading home to Kansas for the last time. There were a few issues along the way but his nephew and I got lucky and worked them out.

Thanks all. And yes David, that old 2-cylinder sounds exactly like that after a couple of monstrous spins of the flywheel! We learned a lot, especially after having to figure out how to move the right rear wheel inboard about 4". Simple but clever mechanics.

Looks to me more like Powell Butte, but then I'm frequently nostalgic for that part of Central Oregon.

Got the worst sun-burn I've ever had raking hay with a poppin johnnie one summer in Powell Butte.
