We got a Logitech mm28 portable speaker and mounted it with picture frame wire from the ceiling. The mm28 sound is excellent, has low power drain, and we stow it behind the seat when traveling. It can be had for about $30 + shipping from http://www.xpcgear.com/logitechmm28.html. It uses thin membrane technology to provide stereo and excellent base.

i was thinking of addressing this a bit differently.
i could hard mount a 12v amp and provide an input jack to allow feeding it with mp3 player or laptop.

there is enough room on the 12 outlet "panel" for a little audio jack....i think.
what are those called? 3mm plug/jack ?

i am up in the air on the speakers tho....

a surface mount unit would be nice but i have not found one i like.

i would like to be able to play speakers outside....maybe box unit setting on the bumper....or hung above the camper door.
