Well I just had to have a FWC when I found one local on cragslist. But I didn't have space. So what to do?....... I do have a very High (14') garage ceiling. I am a framing contractor and did design/build my house. So I know I could support 1000lbs (give or take) No problem. So here's what I did. Cost was about $500 for the 2 lifts, pulleys, hangers, etc.... Now I can have my boat, camper, and 2 cars in my 3 stall garage.

I hate when people get all PC and do this but, here'goes-Disclaimer: I Don't Recommend you try this unless you're structurally qualified!

It works great. back the truck in, hook up, lift out or reverse order of course.

I've been pondering the same thing but just to lift it off the truck and onto a dolly. Can you post more details on what you did with the winch, etc., etc.,? I don't have jacks on my camper so was thinking about a cradle type solution with a winch, etc.
