I've had my Ford on this program for a year, I already had a bypass system, I've actually noticed an increase in fuel milage of about 3mi. per gallon and have increased my oil changes to 10000 mi. The composition of mineral based oils has been changed, much of the zinc ect. has been removed and there has been some lube issues with the new formulation especially with Cummins engines for some reason, infact Cummins won't honor the warranty with the use of non Cummins approved oil.

Love my little gasser!!!! :D

After you load that "little gasser" up with the lift kit, the 35 in. tires, that heavy bumper you want, and a camper, that 6.7 Cummins is going to look pretty good.

Like Salty I'm using AmSoil too. They say 30K with their filter between changes but I get nervous so its 15k for me.

I Love my 5.9 CTD also. The 6.7 had lots of problems in 2007 & 2008.
By the time the 2009's came out, all the DPF problems were pretty well fixed. My Bro-in-law has a 2009 with 45k on it already with no problems of any kind.

Salty, Wasn't the Tow Missile engine in pieces a few weeks ago?? Is it back together and installed yet? I wouldn't say too much about the CTD as Ford has been through 4 or 5 different diesels over the last decade, and it looks like another new one next year...Think maybe they'll get it right this time.
