Need info/experience on Hawk Tie down factory system: I am looking to install a tie down system for a Hawk camper into my 2018 Toyota Tundra 6.5' bed. I have found that many of the businesses in Washington State will not install bracket systems unless obtained through them. One business I found would install a "used" bracket system if it is from the same vehicle as mine, but they seem hesitant. The one business in Issaquah, WA installs the Hawk install kit, which is the factory ratchet type system (wiring + connector plates, eyebolts, turnbuckles) for Hawk campers. Any advice and or experience with this for a truck like mine?

I am still looking for the Hawk camper and am thinking of getting the tie down system in place in the meantime.

Thanks!

Install the FWC tie downs before you leave home to get the camper. Not hard to do, and good instructions exist here and the web. Stock turnbuckles are ok, but I love my Torklift Derringers.
