I am planning a trip to Boulder, Mt. this summer and am looking for insight as to what the passes are like between Spokane and Boulder as I have never crossed the Rockies before. Rig will consist of 4x4 3/4 ton small block powered pickup and Fourwheel camper pulling a trailer and Jeep.

Should be no problem, straight shot on I 90 as long as the weather cooperates. Passes are low by Colorado standards, 5k or so on divided freeway. That said, Montana weather is unpredictable to say the least. We had 3" of snow here in the valley June 12th two years ago, quite a bit more higher up.

If you want to go through Glacier on Going to the Sun (highly recommended), you will have to leave your trailer at base of pass or in a campsite. If you are coming to the Flathead PM me for some tips. Enjoy the drive, Barney.
