Hi All,
I have a 6' bed Tacoma with the composite bed. I want to start getting everything together (mounting bars/air bags/rubber mat) so that I can jump on a used FWC Fleet or Eagle or an ATC Bobacat on short notice, as we all know that they can sell quickly. My question is about the mounting system used by ATC. Do they use something similar (or the same) as FWC or is it a different set up? Did a forum search but did not find the info I was seeking. If I missed it perhaps someone could provide a link to that info.
Thanks!

Give ATC a call. I expect they'd quickly share how they handle the composite bed.

Sorry, I can't help from my knowledge.

Best of luck finding a camper! :)

Our Tacoma has the composite bed and an ATC camper mounted in it by ATC back in 2012. The camper sits directly on the bed with no pad which allows water to drain away from the bottom of the camper. ATC installed eyebolts. At the forward location they used steel plates to offset the eyebolts from the bolt locations. At the rear, they used backing plates under the bed for the bolts.** It is a very simple and effective solution which has worked flawlessly for us.

I don't know if their system has changed in the intervening years, but in my opinion the approach used for our camper would also work for an FWC. I also encourage you to call ATC and talk to Marty if you have any questions. I'm sure they would fix you up with the necessary parts.

**edited: to correct the info about the location of eye bolts after looking at my truck. I guess my memory isn't what it used to be, haha.
