We are going Redfish and Speckle Trout Fishing this Weekend in Leeville Louisianna. In spite of what the Folks out West might Think.
Heaven really is somewhere in sight of the Leeville Bridge.

Pictures to follow.

Well....

...I don't think it's a particularly pretty bridge, but as long as your not staying in a hotel... (Not certain this is the correct bridge, either.)

(I've been to Leesville, LA a few times, but never Leeville.)

Gent, Guys like Fisherman would love it in Leeville but most of these western people don't have a clue about that country.

Where are you popping up. Is there such a thing as an improved camp site down there? John D

It's in the water Dude

Scott: Most every guy thats been though puberty and the Army has visited Leesville, LA. Ft. Polk Garden stop of Southwest Lousianna.

You got the correct bridge pictured in Leeville. It ain't pretty but man is the fishing Fine. They had over six foot of water over Leeville twice this year in Hurricane Season. It did over 6 million dollars of improvements.

Improved Camping in Leeville is Hard Ground

John, Improved Camp Grounds is a relative concept. My Cousin has a Camping Trailer Water, power and sewage hook up. I'll be parking a long side him.

There are Camp Grounds back north in Golden Meadows and down at Grand Isles.

Great Trip Nov. 21 / 24 Leeville LA.

Greetings, We had a great weekend. The weather forcast as of Thursday Morning 20 Nov. was Cold ( 32 to 45 degrees ) and Wind ( 5 to 15 MPH ) and possible rain.

I plopted down and Popped Up my Granby Friday night to high 30's and 10 MPH winds.

Friday night was pretty cold for South Louisanna mid 30's. My Grandy doesn't have an on-board heater. My sleepng bags are warm and you sure don't mess around when nature calls and it's time to dress. No Ice Tea after 3:00PM. Great Rule.

Saturday Morning fishing was cold but good and the weather broke to mild Saturday night. Sunday was comfortable Fishing in long sleeves and a wind breaker.

Monday morning was a real treat. Overcast with 3 MPH winds. We limited out on Speckle trout by 10:30 AM. We had a wet ride back to the docks as the rain moved in. We loaded the boat and Folded down the Granby in a bit of Rain.

Tuesday morning my Buddy Howard Underwood and I cleaned 124 Speckle Trout on the Tailgate of my Truck.

By choice I leave my Tail Gate on the truck while carrying my Granby. It acts as a Back Porch and Extra hauling space.

I use a 3 Step Folding Kitchen Ladder for Steps.
