New Renogy Flexible Panel

I purchased a 50watt flexible renogy panel to tinker with. Got it for $99 so not a bad price.
Received it today and noticed some flaws in a couple of the sections.

It is raining and gonna be cloudy for a couple days so no way to measure true output......arrgh!

Just to be safe I contacted Renogy with a couple pics. This could just be cosmetic but I'm thinking it probably isn't.....

We'll see what they say

More when I get a chance to test it out.

It feels well built and very light so hoping for a good outcome

We bought the 100watt about a month ago and used it twice. Very happy with it. We did notice that it is tough to find a good spot to carry it inside our camper. If it isn't kept perfectly flat, it tends to warp easily. We usually put it behind our roll-over couch but have to make sure nothing is pushing against it. Otherwise a great panel. Just need to get some longer MC4 cables though as sometimes where the sun is requires a greater distance then our existing cables reach.

Hi there, I am assuming its got a bit of weight and also assuming you have a popup. If I'm wrong why not install it on the roof. I have a popup and am contemplating installing a 50 watt flex on my roof . It weighs only 3 lbs

The panel is very lite and is easy to move around. We only use it to supplement our two 100 watt permanent units on the roof when we don't have full sun.

Well we have good sun today so I checked the panel. 2.93Amps @ 22V. Can't argue with that! Only dislike is negative wire is pretty short but I will live with it as one has to put an extension on it anyway. Might get a 2nd to do a pretty portable suitcase design
