Purchased 2008 Hawk camper used last summer. Fiddled around with the fridge but mainly was doing other upgrades and never got around to figuring out and solving the fridge issues. Well, I decided I wanted cold beer this spring so here we go.

The fridge/freezer is a Norcold 300.3.

Fridge seems to cool on DC and LP (not sure how well).

No cooling whatsoever on AC. Everything else in the camper works fine on AC.

I did find the service manual online. Checked fuses, connections, all good thus far. I am on the step of checking the AC voltage at the following locations:

1. Terminal Block
2. At input of 3 amp fuse
3. At input/output of selector switch
4. At input/output of thermostat
5. At heater

How do I check the AC voltage? I'm assuming the above can be done with a multimeter. Searching youtube and not finding much. Learning electrical as I go so the above I am somewhat in the dark about. Can anyone provide any technical know-how on how this is done with a MM and if it is possible to do with a multimeter?

Best,

Luke

Maybe try pulling out the silverware drawer.

Look inside with a flashlight and make sure refer is plugged into the outlet in back of cabinets.

If so, unplug it, and plug that refer cord into an extension cord.

Make sure truck and camper are level.

Try and run the refrig for 24 hours on AC 120V and see if that works.
