Off road + ice chest + glass bottles

The wife does not like cans. On the way in, all is good as they are packed tight in ice. The leftovers have a wee bit of trouble surviving the trip home.

Alley-Kat's idea is spot on. The Australians, who dearly love both their beer and four wheeling can buy 12 bottle Kozies in a canvas pouch that hangs on the side of their coolers/fridges. A friend gave me a set and they work as advertised.

Ive never seen them here -- business opportunity?

In the U.S. I just listen to my local radio to find out where the "weekend broadcast booth" is located, especially this time of year (lots of holiday events), and they are usually giving them away for free. Sometimes my local Honda motorcycle dealer, or sometimes a car/truck dealership also has them for free. Some other businesses do the same.

If there is a business opportunity for someone on WTW, they could make a bunch with a logo or just blank (the cost gets reasonable at about 50+) and sell them.

A-C, thanks for the Ebay link. Just bought the 100 for 17.99. Too late for this weekends trip, but they should help on the next one.
Thanks everybody for the helpful and amusing tips. "Slow down" was my favorite. :D

Always glad to help.

If you find that you want to sell a few, let me know.
I've recycled these by cutting them apart and re-gluing them together as Kayak paddle hand pads (small diameter tubes that fit the paddle shafts), nice & soft and my hands stay dry & warm without gloves.
I also kind of like the more obscure companies that make these things, they are always conversation starters.
