Thought it might be appropriate to get a topic started for various call for photo submissions that might be of interest to WTW photo types.
Will get it started with a subject that is near and dear to my heart as I am actively involved in this project, the Oregon Natural Desert Association's Wild Desert Calendar. I was able to instigate a group of volunteers to start this effort about 12 years ago. It is still going strong with images getting better and better with each passing year and great positive feedback. Still an all volunteer project with many amateur and professional photographers donating their images for a worthy cause.

Craggyman, are you soliciting submits for ONDA?. I don't have much material to choose from as we haven't really explored up there.

Yes...but there's always next year. Plan a trip up this way!

Lighthawk - I can take JPEGs emailed to me directly or just send me a link to an online gallery and will make sure it is part of the review process when we get the process going.
To be honest the deadline date of June 5 is a little arbitrary as we probably won't sit down and look at images for maybe a week after that so can fudge the deadline a bit. Will know more later today as we will set the schedule for review.

Thanks for the interest from both LH and WS. And as MBC remarked, heading north sometimes can be good.

Just an update on the submission deadline. We are pushing it out to June 12 as we can't sit down for image review till the 16th.
