How do you close your tailgate when you're inside the camper?
I've been pulling mine shut using the cable that attaches to the side of the bed, but after a few nights of this my arthritis starts telling me to find another way.
Look for a tailgate assist kit, as a lot of brand trucks have them. If that doesn't work for you, maybe ad a short dog leash type pull strap on some of the existing fasteners.
