So after a trip or two with the Hawk, I was wondering if anyone had mounted some type of rear air dam/deflector on the upper rear portion of the camper to help keep the rear dust free/less dust. You know the type used on older SUV's and station wagons?

A spoiler of sorts.

Never seen one but it does makes sense.

Would need to be fairly large to keep the majority of dust off the back.

Probably wouldn't take that much (size wise), just enough to keep the back door area clear. They worked great on both of my Landcruisers and I could tell on my Tacoma with camper shell that it didn't have one. You couldn't go near the back without getting covered in dirt. Just trying to keep the dust down on the rear and little that got inside the camper through the door (door has since been adjusted to hopefully cut that little bit down).

Might have to look around Pick-n-Pull for a suitable candidate. Shouldn't be too hard (famous last words) to fab up. Just thought/hoping someone else might have traveled down that road.
