Is it plugged into shore power? If so, there is power to the fridge. The silver plug isolates the battery only -- it doesn't shut off 120V power.

Late getting back... As Rubberlegs mentioned it will have a light on. Your refg auto switches over to 120 volt when you plug into shore power weather you have the silver battery disconnect pulled in or out.

Thanks.guess I need to remove shore power to dry out / defrost frig
