SF Bay Area to Crescent City and back Via Gualala

Hi All,


We are taking a short road trip before our baby comes. My wife is 32 weeks so we need to stay relative close to a town so no remote off road camping for us plus she can't handle the bumpy roads right now. She really wanted to see the redwoods so we are headed north to COB and back along the coast.

Please let us know if you have any recommendations for places to see, things to do and places to eat. I'm bringing my surfboard and fishing gear just in cased the opportunity presents itself.

Wed - Prairie Creek State Park
Thursday - Jedediah state park
Friday to Sat.day - B&B in Gualala

If you get to Fort Bragg (about 50 miles north of Gualala) don't miss the Botanical Gardens. The Dahlias are in bloom and are spectacular. The photo's are from last week and are just a sample.
