Just a point of interest.

We owned a flipPac for many years, traveled with it permanently mounted to our Ranger. It was probably 10 years old when we sold it. We never had a problem with our torsion bar and aways used the vertical supports under the bed attached to the pins on the hood of the truck. They not only prevent the fliPac from lifting in high winds, they support the weight of the bed and occupants. Whoever buys this unit should consider replacing and using the supports. Not sure but I would think that not using them might damage the torsion bar, but why take a chance. Also, the support pins on the hood need to be placed so the arms are at an angle and the bed is flat, not the way shown in the photo.

FliPac is a great unit, we had lots of fun in it, until we got to old to climb in and out over the tailgate. LOL
