SR71 and FWC?

I came across this story of an individuals search for a crashed 928, forerunner to the SR71 near Groom Lake in NV. Sounds like the searcher had a aluminum framed FWC. Which at one point got submerged and it was quite a struggled to extract it

El Barko, thanks for the great link. Having been involved in this kind of aviation exploration and research, this brought back lots of memories.
