It's currently 109F outside. A mere 101F inside, but I forgot to close the windows this morning, so the air has been circulating all day. The dog's kiddie pool sprung a leak sometime between last night and when I got home today, but their water bowls are almost full (even the toilet bowl is mostly full) so I suspect the pool lasted through most of the day. They endured, and even seemed to enjoyed a hose down. I think it's about time I turn the hose on myself.

It is somewhere around 100 degrees here in Woodland, CA

It gets very unpleasant to be outside for any period of time

Might be great weather if you were on vacation at the beach

But when you have a full shirt and long pants on, it isn't the best weather

Low-Mid 80's on the sand here at Oxnard Shores most of the weekend. Great beach weather, proven by the hordes of people flocking to the local beaches this weekend. Apparently it is now officially bikini season

Sunny you need to qualify "hordes" for non Nardians. Hordes at the Shores is 12 people. Still the most pristine and best kept secret in SoCal.

Roger that Jay...the "hordes" have jumped a bit since you left, but not by much. It's definitely nice to walk out front, plop your beach chair and cooler down, without being elbow to elbow like some places.
