Due to the weekend including the 15th preceding a public holiday (Emancipation Day in the District of Columbia), today is the filing deadline for 2011 income tax returns. That being the case, after today I get to: mow my grass, pay my bills, go to the beach, go to the Blue Ridge Mountains, marry one son off, pack the other one off to Afghanistan, and spend a little quality time with the Whole Fam Damily.
I'll be doing some scheming and planning about acquiring a FWC in time for my next WTW, hopefully in July 2013.
And the REAL tax freedom day, the day on which we Americans have, on average, earned enough since the first of the year to pay the full year's Federal, State, and Local taxes, comes in early May, if I recall correctly.
