I was going though some of may paper work for my camper and came across the pricing sheet for my 1997 grandby. Thought you might like see how much a camper cost 20 years ago. This was pretty close when my fully loaded f250 4wd truck- sticker at the dealer as 15k. If the same pricing increase goes up the same rate in another 20 years, a base grandby will be just over 50k yikes ! IMG_5092.JPG

Yeah, and I just sold my '98 Ranger shell model for $1300. Not bad depreciation for all those Baja trips.

$3995 for the basic shell in 1996. Our 2012 base $6,995 175% increase in 16 years,

The basic shell for 2017 - $11,995 Not so basic anymore with many standard features Listed in Red that no longer are options:
as follows:
1. Queen Sized Extended Cab-over Bed w/ Mattress
2. Forced Air Furnace w/ Digital Thermostat
3. 2 Propane Tanks & Propane Regulator
4. Aux. Camper Battery System (1 Deep Cycle Battery & Separator)
5. Two LED Interior Lights
6. Outside LED Porch Light
7. 12 Volt Accessory Plug and USB Outlets
8. Large Passenger Side Louvered Window
9. Basic Roof Vent

11. Fire Extinguisher

I wonder if a basic/basic shell is even available today?
